Scorecards your distributor will actually open

Distributors ignore PDFs that open with seventeen pages of methodology. We front-load three visuals: a map with color logic explained once, a table of top exceptions, and a photo strip with readable annotations. Methodology moves to an appendix with a single link anchor.
We also separate “must fix this week” from “monitor” using plain language bands rather than opaque letter grades. Bands map to contractual clauses when applicable so legal teams recognize the lineage.
The third beat is timing. Mid-week drops beat Monday floods. A Tuesday morning subject line that states the number of new exceptions beats vague “audit update” phrasing.
Finally, we recommend a live ten-minute readout optional slot. Half of our clients skip it; half say it prevents misreadings that take weeks to unwind.
